speaker and Society president Daniel Bellware, talks about the Origin of Memorial Day on its 160th Anniversary! A little teaser – the holiday started in Linwood Cemetery!

Directions to Linwood Cemetery, 721 Linwood Blvd, Columbus, GA. The chapel is on the east side of the cemetery (10th Avenue side). The gate at the chapel will be open.
Light refreshments will be served at 2:45 p.m., with the program beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
